windows 8 logoSince we are waiting for Window 7, Microsoft are planned to come out a Windows 8 that can support 128 bit computer. It very good movement from Microsoft that will support any PC with 128 bit OS  in future.  Microsoft expect that 128 bit OS will be the new revolution on computer world in future.

The information/rumors is grabbed from LinkedIn profile of Robert Morgan who is the senior R&D in Microsoft. Morgan said on the profiles… “Working in high security department for research and development involving strategic planning for medium and long term projects. Research & Development projects including 128bit architecture compatibility with the Windows 8 kernel and Windows 9 project plan. Forming relationships with major partners: Intel, AMD, HP, and IBM.”

Furthermore, the rumors id add with the environment on Windows Server 2008. New Windows Server 2008 R2 will only be shipping in 64 bit versions that expected the 32 bits OS will be dropped on the market for 2 or 3 years later. That assume client PC’s will follow to suit on server environment. It might be up to 128 bit Operating system.We wait and see how powerfull of  Windows 8 OS feature later. :)
