Today i facing problem on my users computer. This user are not able to install XML Toolbox on his Microsoft Excel 2003. The XML toolbox is has been download from Microsoft Website. But he cannot install and got one error message that the tool need .NET Framework 1.1
I try solved this morning. I googling and find the right solution to solved this problem. Below is my solution.
1) Your computer is must be running Microsoft Office Professional version. XML Toolbox is only can running on Microsoft Office 2003 professional. This Error is come out if running rather than Microsoft Office Professional.
2) Then install .Net Framework 1.1 to proced the XML Toolbox installation. Even your computer is installed .NET Framework 3.5, but it will not working . It is because the tool is develop using .NET Framework 1.1. So you must install the correct version follow the requirement.
3) Download Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package from here.
4) Install .NET Frameword 1.1 to the PC.
5) Finish. Your XML Toolbox must be appeared on the menu bar.
